About Us

The Laboratory of Socio-Cognitive Processes throughout the Lifespan was created with the aim of studying the processes of development and change in individuals from a lifespan perspective. Research projects, experimental protocols, and intervention research are carried out in relation to cognitive, social, and relational development, focusing on learning processes, socialization, and personal adaptation in different life stages.


With the goal of promoting psychological and physical well-being, the laboratory examines the resources and potential for autonomous development that contribute to awareness and overcoming of cognitive and behavioral difficulties. The laboratory promotes, coordinates, and carries out research activities, consulting, and training for teachers, trainers, clinicians, and those involved in youth policies.

The activities of the Laboratory are aimed at:

- children and primary school students,

secondary school students of both first and second grade, university students;

- young adults;

- parents, teachers, educators, clinicians.

Workstations for processing, managing, and administering experimental tests.

Software for data analysis and literature research.

Software for text encoding and analysis.

Cognitive and behavioral tests for evaluating major normal and pathological cognitive functions.
